RiverKings Season Tickets Are Best Sports Value

SOUTHAVEN, MS --- Today, people want to make sure they receive the absolute best value for their investment. Today's economy requires that any dollars spent must provide as much return as possible to the person spending that money.

Season ticket holders of the Mississippi RiverKings hockey club are finding that they are receiving the absolute best value for their sports entertainment expenditure.

Through the purchase of RiverKings season tickets, fans receive several benefits those who simply come to the games and buy tickets at the box office on game night do not get.

The first benefit comes in the pocket book. Fans who buy full package Gold level season tickets spend $488.00 for the season, while those who purchase full package Red level season tickets spend $326.00 for the year.

By contrast, fans that do not purchase season tickets and buy Gold level tickets for every RiverKings game this season would spend a total of $693.00, while fans that attend each of the team's 33 home games this year and buy Red level seats would spend $528.00.

That amounts to a per-game saving of nearly seven dollars a Gold or Red level ticket, for just the ticket alone.

However, there are more advantages to being a RiverKings season ticket holder than just the savings at the box office.

Fans that come and purchase tickets at the box office this season will be required to pay a one-dollar service charge on that ticket purchase, a charge that season ticket holders are not required to pay, or a savings of $33.00 per ticket for the season.

In addition, the new agreement with the RiverKings' home arena, the DeSoto Civic Center, requires a $5.00 per vehicle parking fee be instituted for each game played this year, which amounts to $165.00 spent on parking for the entire season at the DCC. Season ticket holders will receive a parking pass which will allow them in the DCC parking lot at no additional charge.

In effect, Gold level season ticket holders save a total of $403.00, while Red level season ticket purchasers save a total of $400.00 with their investment in the RiverKings.

Including the parking fees, Gold level season ticket holders earn a 43% savings with their purchase, while Blue level season ticket holders earn a 40% savings. Season ticket holders of Red and Green level seats are saving an astounding 52% compared to the money they would spend buying tickets at the box office for every RiverKings' home game.

Along with the cost savings, RiverKings season ticket holders receive several other "perks" that box office purchasers do not.

Season ticket holders are assured of being in the same seat location for every game the RiverKings play during the year.

They receive five "Bring-A-Buddy" vouchers, which when redeemed allow season ticket holders to bring friends to the game during the course of the season.

Season tickets not used are not tickets gone to waste, as the RiverKings offer ten "Ticket Redemption Nights," where unused season tickets may be turned in at the DeSoto Civic Center box office on those specific nights for equal value tickets to that game.

RiverKings season ticket holders also receive a 10% discount on team merchandise purchased during the season, and free nightly "Game Notes" detailing that night's contest.
