
Burnie Joins OfficeMax for "A Day Made Better"

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - Arizona Sundogs mascot Burnie joined OfficeMax for "A Day Made Better" Tuesday afternoon at Acorn Montessori School in Prescott Valley.
Burnie helped OfficeMax distribute gift bags packaged with school supplies to each teacher and classroom and crayons to each student before surprising kindergarten teacher Kendal Healey with classroom supplies totaling $1,200 including a dry erase board, office chair, digital camera, label maker, paper and other materials.
The event is part of a national program in which OfficeMax stores surprise 1,200 teachers across the United States with school supplies and essential tools to educate students.
Prescott Valley Mayor Harvey Skoog was also in attendance for the presentation.
