Mississippi RiverKings News Release
Southaven, Miss - If adopting your favorite RiverKings player is something you're interested in, then the Mississippi RiverKings Fan Club needs your help. As we approach the beginning of the holiday seasons, the need this year for the community to support each RiverKings player is essential to the success of the team and its players.
RiverKings fans that want to become the adopted family of a player will assist in helping the player by supplementing their monthly food budget with gift cards from grocery stores or restaurants, donating items for away game bus trips, including them in family holidays and other celebrations, and any other help such as transportation needs.
This commitment is vital to the success of the team and its players, and to participate as an "adoptive family" you must meet the following criteria:
- Consist of a group of two or more people
- Be willing and able to provide the required items on time each month
- Be willing to make the player feel like part of your family (i.e. recognize birthdays, include in holiday plans, and overall be available to provide help if needed by the player)
If you are interested in becoming one of these elite fans, please email riverkingsfanclub@att.net or visit the Fan club concourse table behind Section 118 at the next home game on Friday, November 11th to get your adoption packet information. Player assignments will then be completed and adoptive families/groups will be contacted accordingly immediately after the assignments have been made.
