Mississippi RiverKings News Release

Southaven, Miss-The Mississippi RiverKings have acquired goaltender David Wilson from the Augusta Riverhawks in exchange for cash considerations. Terms and conditions were not released.

"I'm very excited to bring David into the RiverKings family," RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser said. "With the addition of David I think we have the best goaltending duo in the league."

This season with the Riverhawks, the University of Maine product has posted a 4-1 record with a 3.18 goals against average and a .910 save percentage. Wilson spent parts of last season with the Evansville Icemen and the Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League.

The RiverKings made the move as goaltender Alan Reynolds left the team for personal reasons.

Coach Derek Landmesser, your RiverKings players and Sheldon will be on hand tomorrow night at Bahama Breeze in Memphis from 6-8 p.m. For more information, log onto www.riverkings.com.

Great tickets are still available for the RiverKings' 20th Anniversary Season. For more information on RiverKings' flex and group ticket packages, contact the RiverKings front office at 662-342-1755 or visit www.riverkings.com.
