Tonights game is the fifth meeting between these teams this season. The Brahmas lead the season series 3-0-1.

The RiverKings are winless in their last six games (0-5-1). After starting the season 11-3-1, the Brahmas have lost 9 of their last 13 (4-7-2) including two straight. After taking the early advantage in the division, Fort Worth has slipped 6 points behind the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs. In their last game on Saturday, Fort Worth took a 2-0 lead in the first period over Tulsa only to lose 5-2 to the Oilers. The Brahmas are led by all-stars Chad Woolard (23g/20a) and Martin Paquet (14g/27a). Bryan Lundbohm(10g/20a) recently returned from call-up to Milwaukee of the A.H.L.

LAST TIME OUT FOR MEMPHIS

Brett Smith scored twice to aid Bossier-Shreveport in their 3-1 victory over the RiverKings on Saturday night. Ryan Manitowich and Smith each scored in the first period to make it a 2-0 lead for the Bugs after one. Don Parsons cut the lead in half with a rebound goal into an open net at 3:35 of second. Assists went to Travis Banga and Ted Crowley on what was Parsons 22nd goal of the season. Bossier-Shreveport would build their lead back to two as Smith scored a quirky goal for his second of the game. On his initial shot, he was all alone on the right door-step and was stopped cold by Memphis goalie David Lemanowicz only to have Smith put it off Lemanowicz from behind the net for the final score of the game at the 10:50 mark in the second period. All-Star goalie Ken Carrol made a number big saves out of his total of 27 to get the win. Lemanowicz made 34 saves in the loss. Bossier-Shreveport improved to 12-0-1 when leading after two periods.

HERE AND THERE

By going 5 for 24 on the power play the last four games, the RiverKings have improved their season percentage to 16.9%. That is good for ninth in the league.

With his assist on the RiverKings lone goal on Saturday night, Crowley has 8 points (3g,5a) in his 4 games played this season.
