RiverKings Fan Club 5K Run Planned

SOUTHAVEN, MS --- The Mississippi RiverKings Fan Club is hosting a 5K Run on Saturday, October 9th, at the North Parking Lot of the DeSoto Civic Center in Southaven. The event will start with registration at 7:30 AM and the run will start at 9:00 AM.

All proceeds from the event will go to support the RiverKings' "Assists for Autism" program in DeSoto County. Cost to participate in the event is just $20.00 per runner, who will receive a t-shirt, a ticket to one of that weekend's pre-season games between the RiverKings and the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs, and valuable coupons to area restaurants.

After the run has been completed, runners and fans are invited to stay for FanFest on the DeSoto Civic Center grounds and meet and get autographs from RiverKings players and Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations Kevin "Killer" Kaminski.
