RiverKings, Buffalo Wild Wings Announce Away Game Parties

SOUTHAVEN, MS --- Mississippi RiverKings fans won't have far to go to catch the action of their favorite pro hockey team when they take the road again this season. They'll only need to go as far as the Southaven Buffalo Wild Wings.

The RiverKings and the Southaven Buffalo Wild Wings today (September 7th, 2010) announced the schedule of dates when the restaurant will host RiverKings Away Game Watch Parties. Again this year, Buffalo Wild Wings is serving as the RiverKings Official Away Game Watch Party Headquarters.

One change from last year is that selected games will be shown this year, to avoid conflicts with other activities already planned by the Buffalo Wild Wings location at 7188 Airways Blvd., just north of Goodman Road, in Southaven.

The schedule of dates for Away Game Watch Parties at Buffalo Wild Wings for the first three months of the RiverKings regular season are as follows:

Friday, October 15th - at Bossier-Shreveport (7:05 PM start)

Friday, October 29th - at Missouri (7:05 PM start)

Friday, November 12th - at Rapid City (8:05 PM start)

Tuesday, November 16th - at Rapid City (7:35 PM start)

Wednesday, November 24th - at Wichita (7:05 PM start)

Friday, December 3rd - at Tulsa (7:35 PM start)

Friday, December 10th - at Bossier-Shreveport (7:05 PM start)

Wednesday, December 22nd - at Bloomington (7:05 PM start)

Wednesday, December 29th - at Fort Wayne (8:30 PM start)

Future dates for the remainder of the season will be announced when they are finalized.

RiverKings fans who attend will see the CHL-TV feed of the game broadcast with veteran broadcaster and team Media Coordinator Bob Bakken providing the play-by-play coverage.

The Mississippi RiverKings are embarking on their 19th season of hometown professional hockey for the Mid-South. Pre-season home games are set for Saturday, October 9th at 6:05 PM and Sunday, October 10th at 3:05 PM. After the regular season opens on Friday, October 15th, the RiverKings home opener is set for Saturday night, October 16th, when the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs come to the DeSoto Civic Center in Southaven, at 7:05 PM.
