Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC News Release

Washington, PA- The Riverhounds (1-1-4) host the Cincinnati Kings (3-3-1) this Saturday, June 10, at Falconi Field.

In the United Soccer League Second Division, the Riverhounds currently hold fifth place respectively with seven points, while the Kings hold third place with 10 points.

Both teams are coming off matches against the USL Second Division first place Richmond Kickers. The Kickers defeated the Kings 1-0 last Saturday, a day after the Riverhounds tied Richmond 1-1 in a match-up that was officially called after the first half due to unfavorable field conditions.

In their last meeting in early May, the game resulted in a scoreless tie between the teams. The Kings out-shot the Riverhounds 18-9 in the game, but failed to score on any attempt, as Riverhounds' goalkeeper Terry McNelis collected six saves.

Veteran forward David Flavius leads the Riverhounds with three points, one goal and one assist in the 2006 campaign. Forward Jeffery Hughes leads the Kings with three goals and six points for the season.

The HOUNDS® take the field at 7:05 p.m. The game will be televised live on FSN Pittsburgh and carried on Fox Pittsburgh 970 am.

The HOUNDS® will also celebrate Father's Day with their fans. The first 1,000 fathers will receive a special t-shirt at the gate.

Tickets for Saturday's game are still available at the Falconi Field Box Office or by calling (724) 250-9555.

The next game for the HOUNDS® will be at Falconi Field on June 21 against the Wilmington Hammerheads. Local band Ruff Creek will perform on the field after the match.
