Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC News Release

PITTSBURGH (June 10, 2015) - The Riverhounds Development Academy is pleased to announce the addition of eight coaches to their lineup of staff members for the 2015-2016 season.

David Nicholas, Jeroen Walstra, Josh Faga, Bryan Cartwright, Seth C'deBaca, Greg Annan, Christy Rife and Taylor Schram join the RDA coaching staff this month.

Academy teams will also benefit from additional involvement from current professional players on the Riverhounds first team roster. Ghanaian midfielder Stephen Okai will join Kevin Kerr and Rob Vincent in having coaching roles with RDA teams in addition to assisting with Academy training programs and camps.

The announcements come as the Hounds prepare to send out roster invitations that will see about 330 players between the ages of nine and 18 joining the revamped Riverhounds Development Academy team structure.

"We went out in search of individuals who truly understand the professional level, can deliver that level on a consistent basis, and can help get deserving players to that level," said Riverhounds Academy and youth development director Jason Kutney.

The RDA team selection process is expected to be complete this week. Players identified through recent tryouts will be receiving information regarding their next steps. The training calendar will commence immediately with the summer training program set to begin in mid-June.

Additional news regarding coaches and facilities is expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks.
