Riverhounds Announce 2016 Preseason Schedule

PITTSBURGH - The Pittsburgh Riverhounds are pleased to announce the club's 2016 preseason schedule featuring four games against college opponents.
Head coach Mark Steffens and his coaching staff welcome the Hounds' 2016 roster back to Highmark Stadium for the first official day of preseason on Feb. 15. The team will use the Allegheny Health Network Sports Complex at Cool Springs in Bethel Park as its main training base.
The Hounds' preseason slate begins Feb. 28 with a trip to State College to face Penn State University at Jeffrey Field.
Ohio State visits Highmark Stadium on March 6 with Michigan State coming to Pittsburgh the following weekend. Akron rounds out the current slate on March 18 with the venue to be determined.
Steffens and his coaching team are looking to add one more game to the preseason schedule.
All games played at Highmark Stadium will be open to the public with admission free.
