
RiverHawks Add Two

LOVES PARK, Ill. - The Rockford RiverHawks have signed rookie pitchers Nick Anderson and Dylan Brammer.
The RiverHawks announced the signings of the two right-handers before Monday's game against River City. Anderson will start the second game of the series on Tuesday while Brammer will join the relief corps.
Anderson was drafted out of Mayville State University by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 32nd round of this year's draft, but has not yet signed. He was 2-2 with a 3.27 ERA in eight starts this spring. He struck out 40 and walked two in 33 innings. He was named NAIA Dakota Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year.
Brammer was the closer at the University of Northwest Ohio, where he was 3-1 with a 0.94 ERA and eight saves in 16 appearances. He struck out 36 and walked 13 in 28 2/3 innings at the NAIA school.
