
Riverhawks Add Bacon to the Lineup

Davenport - The Quad City Riverhawks (5-2) announced the signing of 6'9" 225lb Forward Chris Bacon out of the University of Nevada.
Bacon most recently played in the WBA during the summer, for Grand Rapids in the CBA in 2004 and spent time with the Atlanta Hawks during their summer league in 2003.
VP of Basketball Operations Acie Earl says, "Chris will add professional experience to our organization and bulk up the middle of the line-up."
The Riverhawks next home game is Friday, December 8 at 7:05pm against the St. Louis Stunners. Fans are asked to bring an unwrapped toy for the "Toys for Tots" drive and fans bringing a gift will receive a complimentary ticket with the purchase of a ticket.
The Riverhawks take to the court Sunday, December 10 as the "Bring Back the Thunder" for their 7:05pm game with Peoria. The Riverhawks signed former Thunder great Barry Sumpter as their 13th man for the game. Fans wearing Thunder gear will receive a complimentary ticket with the purchase of a ticket or can bring in the church bulletin for the same offer.
Tickets are available by logging onto www.etix.com, visiting the Riverhawks office at the NW Bank Tower in Bettendorf or are at Marycrest College Activity Center prior to the game.
