
Buzz scores slam dunk in ABA action

Maywood, CA. The ABA Maywood Buzz, located in sunny Southern California, coached by the charismatic Burrel Lee III jumped out to a 3-0 start this season including an opening night victory over the Hollywood Fame coached by the former LA Clippers coach, Don Casey. The Burrel Lee led squad includes former NBA great Cedric Ceballos and former NBA player Tony Farmer plus Jamar Cramer, Darren Little, Terrell Hendricks, Darwin Carter, Tarron Williams and Will Burr.
Mayor Thomas Martin, Council Members Sergio Calderon, Samuel Pena and City Manager Edward Ahrens have attended games and television coverage has been provided by Time Warner Cable.
Dignitaries that have attended games include former NBA Player John Williams, former boxing champ Lonnie Bennett, Howard KO Smith, Juan Mendoza, Sal Casillas, undefeated pro boxing contender Urbano Antillon and local boxing promoter Sal Ramirez.
Former NBA players Mike McGee, Larry Spriggs and Fred Vinson have also appeared representing the Aoshen Olympian team. Things are going well in the city of Maywood - and it will only get better and better. Check it out.
