CHARLESTON, S.C. - RiverDogs President and General Manager Dave Echols has announced the hiring of Josh Otterline as the club's new Director of Operations, becoming the newest addition to the Charleston front office.
Otterline most recently worked as the Facility Manager for the Washington Nationals' Youth Baseball Academy, where he managed the Nats' 18,000 square foot facility. The product of the University of Georgia heads back South after getting his start in baseball working in stadium operations with the Gwinnett Braves, Atlanta's Triple-A affiliate, during the two seasons prior.
"The RiverDogs are excited to bring Josh and his talents to Charleston," said Echols. "His extensive background in baseball and enthusiasm in the industry will be an asset for our club in 2018 and moving forward."
Otterline was also a Atlanta Braves baseball camp division leader and is a graduate of the UGA Sport Management program.
RiverDogs single-game tickets, including options to the Riley Park Club, are available for the remainder of the 2018 campaign, the club's 25th season as the RiverDogs and their "175th season in dog years." Ticket information can be secured by contacting the box office at (843) 577-DOGS (3647) or online at www.riverdogs.com/tickets.
