Rivera, Harman Complete Falcons Hockey Operations Staff

Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons announced today that the team has hired Jason Rivera as equipment manager and Bobbi Harman as athletic trainer.

Rivera joins the Falcons following a two-season stint with the United Hockey League's Quad City Mallards. The Fresno native also has previous ECHL experience with the Las Vegas Wranglers serving as the team's equipment manager during their first two seasons of existence from 2003-2005.

Harman graduated in May from Troy University in Troy, Alabama with a bachelor of science degree in athletic training. She spent last hockey season as a student athletic training intern with the Columbus Cottonmouths of the Southern Professional Hockey League, and has also completed an internship with the Florida Firecats of af2. Harman also served a student athletic trainer with the football, women's soccer, and men's and women's rodeo teams at Troy.

The Falcons open the 2007-08 season on Friday, October 19, hosting the Las Vegas Wranglers at 7:30 p.m. for an Opening Night Extravaganza, presented by Eye Q Vision Care. The first 1,000 kids 12 and under receive a replica Luke Curtin Falcons' jersey. Opening Night is also "Soccer Night in Fresno" and "Rally Around Citizens With Disabilities Night."
