SAVOR…Reading Catering By SMG Announces Royals' Season Specials

Reading, PA - SAVOR...Reading Catering By SMG, the Food & Beverage provider for the Sovereign Center in Reading, Pennsylvania, today announced the schedule of special F & B events for the 2007-08 Reading Royals' regular season home games. The F & B specials this season include a continuation of the extremely popular "Dollar Wednesdays" when hot dogs, nachos, popcorn and sodas are just $1.00-not to mention the $1.00 off draft beer-at all Royals' Wednesday night home games. Other F & B specials this season include the Chef's Station Sunday Special when fans can get a wide variety of made-to-order food selections on the concourse level in Section 119 at all Sunday games-as well as this season's Monday afternoon matinee game on January 21, 2008 (Martin Luther King Day). A number of game nights this year feature "Dollar Off" specials on premier brands of adult beverages, including two "Bourbon Blues" nights (Friday, December 28, and Saturday, March 15) when virtually all drinks made with premium brand bourbon are $1.00 off.

This year, Catering By SMG will also host a brand new Wine Promotion and Sampling at the Royal Loft Bar on the suite level for suite and club seat holders. Those special wine samplings will be held on Opening Night, Saturday, November 3, and Friday, January 11, 2008. There will also be three separate special All Star Beverage Product Sampling Nights this year on Friday, December 7, Saturday, January 19, and Friday, March 28 at the Royal Loft Bar and the Labatt Blue Zone Bar. Make sure you also bring your sweet tooth on Friday, December 7, which is also National Cotton Candy Day; and Catering By SMG will try to 'butter you up' a bit on Saturday, January 19-National Popcorn Day.
