
Rio Grande Valley Vipers Announce 2021 Schedule

EDINBURG, Texas (Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021) - The Rio Grande Valley Vipers, affiliate of the Houston Rockets, today announced their 2021 schedule. This year's schedule is unique and features a total of 15 games at the single-site at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
The Vipers open the season with back-to-back games tipping off against the Raptors 905 on Wednesday, Feb. 10 at 6:30 p.m. CT as the home contestant. RGV then faces Agua Caliente Clippers on Thursday, Feb. 11 at 6 p.m. CT.
RGV faces off with G League Ignite on Thursday, March 4 at 2:30 p.m. CT as Ignite tips off their inaugural season - with national broadcast will be on ESPNU. The Vipers will then host Santa Cruz Warriors for their last matchup of the 2021 regular season on Friday, March 5 at 6:30 p.m. CT.
The Vipers will host nine weekday games and six weekend games: a total of two Friday games, two Saturday games and two Sunday games. There will be five back-to-back sets of games with one Monday morning game, three Tuesday matchups, one Wednesday afternoon game and four Thursday games.
