Ringing in the season
December 9, 2004 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Bismarck Bobcats News Release
The Bismarck Bobcats are scoring winning goals in their time off.
Goaltender Matt Koenig and defenseman Andrew Hasbargen (pictured above) and the rest of the Bobcat players took turns throughout the day and night on Friday, December 3, to ring the Salvation Army's tiny bells in the tradition of donations for the non-profit organization. These jersey-clad players were able to generate excitement for the Salvation Army's yearly kettle donations from the public.
Bismarck will resume NAHL play this weekend, as they hit the road to play a pair of games with Helena. Bismarck lost to the Bighorns 1-0 in their only game against them earlier this year. Helena is currently eight points ahead of the Bobcats in the NAHL West Division standings.
