FRISCO, Texas - The Frisco RoughRiders, the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, took over sole possession of first place in the second-half standings with a 5-3, come-from-behind win over the Corpus Christi Hooks Saturday at Dr Pepper Ballpark.
BIG MOMENTS
* The Riders erased a 3-1 deficit with a four-run seventh inning. Destin Hood tied the game with a two-run homer and Luis Yander La O put the Riders ahead with a two-run triple.
* Starter Pedro Payano allowed just two runs across six quality innings to keep the squad in the game before the seventh-inning rally.
* Tyler Davis tossed a scoreless ninth to earn his third save.
