Frisco RoughRiders News Release
FRISCO, TX -- The Texas League has awarded the Frisco RoughRiders and the Embassy Suites Dallas-Frisco with Best Host Hotel and Best Umpire Hotel for 2006.
2006 marks the second year of the partnership between the hotel and the âRiders, which provides visiting clubs access to work-out facilities, pool, spa, salon and a well-known cooked-to-order breakfast.
"We've heard from executives and players alike that they look forward to road trips to Frisco," remarked RoughRiders President/GM Scott Sonju. "Their location makes them particularly inviting for our visitors as well as their families and fans that are here to support their team. The partnership is mutually beneficial and we celebrate these accomplishments hand-in-hand."
The Embassy Suites Dallas-Frisco is located only feet from Dr Pepper Ballpark, as a part of the larger Frisco Sports and Entertainment Complex. The Complex includes Dr Pepper Ballpark, the Dr Pepper StarCenter, the Frisco Conference Center and the Frisco Convention and Visitors Bureau.
