SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The Frisco RoughRiders, Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, lost 7-5 in a back-and-forth battle with the Springfield Cardinals Tuesday afternoon at Hammons Field.
BIG MOMENTS
The Cardinals hit back-to-back homers twice Tuesday, registering the second set in a four-run seventh inning that put the Cardinals ahead for good.
The Riders fought back from deficits of 2-0 and 3-2, taking a 4-3 lead in the seventh on a bases-loaded walk from Luis La O.
Michael De Leon and Michael O'Neill each reached base safely four times for the Riders, combining to drive in two runs and score three in the defeat.
