AMARILLO, Texas - The RoughRiders weren't able to hang on to an early 3-0 lead, losing 7-4 to Amarillo in Thursday's series opener.
SYNOPSIS
* Frisco led 3-0 after three and a half innings thanks to RBIs from Andretty Cordero and Michael De Leon and a solo home run from Charles Leblanc (4).
* Cordero cut the Amarillo lead to three with his team-best 12th home run in the sixth inning.
* Walker Weickel and Jake Lemoine combined to toss a perfect final 3 1/3 innings.
KEY RIDERS PERFORMERS
* Andretty Cordero: 2-for-4, HR, 2 RBI
* Charles Leblanc: 2-for-4, HR
* Jake Lemoine: 2 IP, 0 H, 0 ER, 0 BB
NEWS AND NOTES
* With his two perfect innings Thursday, Lemoine extended his scoreless innings streak to 19 1/3 for the Riders.
* With Thursday's performance, Cordero has a team-leading 65 RBIs.
