Frisco, TX - RF Alec Burleson swung the Springfield Cardinals (22-39) into a late lead with a grand slam in the 8th, but RF Josh Stowers countered with a walk-off, two-run home run in the bottom of the 9th to lift the Frisco RoughRiders (38-23) to the dramatic 7-6 win to start the series at Riders Field.

RF Alec Burleson's grand slam was part of a three-hit night for the outfielder... CF Justin Toerner doubled and scored in the 5th.
