PLAYS OF THE DAY

The highlight of today's practice session had everyone on the edge of their seats and came from the hand of Rider quarterback Darian Durant. Speculation went rapid across Saskatchewan yesterday after the news broke that Durant had injured his throwing hand. The starting QB came onto the field today donning a bright white cast on that hand in question, only to have it cut off a short time later. In the end Durant was pranking not only his teammates, but the media and fans in attendance who immediately fell concerned.

TONIGHT

Players will meet with their positional coaches and continue preparing for their first pre-season game on Sunday against the B.C. Lions.

TOMORROW

Players and coaches will hit the field at Mosaic Stadium for Day 7 of training camp with walk-thru beginning at 10:15 am.
