St. John's IceCaps News Release

LEAGUE TOPPERS: Bud Holloway and Mark Barberio are among four players tied for the most assists in the league (17). Bud Holloway sits fourth overall in league scoring (24), and Michael McCarron is in fourth for rookie scoring (20).

CALLING ALL ICECAPS: Sven Andrighetto (three goals), Christian Thomas with his first NHL assist, and Daniel Carr with his first NHL goal all made the most of their opportunities in Montreal last week and remain with the big club.

POINT STREAKS: The IceCaps ended their 10- game point streak in Binghamton Saturday night, but look to keep their home-streak alive as they remain undefeated in regulation at Mile One Centre going into this weekend's series versus the Americans.

Dustin Tokarski kicked out 36 of 38 shots in an overtime loss to the Albany Devils at the Times Union Center. Gabriel Dumont (from Joel Hanley and Stefan Fournier), scored for St. John's, while Mike Sislo and Paul Thompson - with the OT winner - scored for the Devils.

For the first time in IceCaps franchise history, St. John's faced the Utica Comets. Bud Holloway scored the game-winner in a back and forth overtime battle. Angelo Miceli netted the first period tally for the IceCaps, assisted by Luke Pither and Tim Bozon. The helper was Bozon's first point as a pro.

St. John's fell to the Binghamton Senators in a chippy affair at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena. Mark MacMillan opened the scoring for the IceCaps in the first but the Senators answered with four straight goals, including a pair from Matt Puempel. Dustin Tokarski made 26 saves for the IceCaps.
