
Rick Matchett Named General Manager of Odessa Jackalopes

Odessa, TX - The Odessa Jackalopes have hired Rick Matchett as General Manager.
Matchett, a native of Amarillo, Texas, boasts an impressive resume including seven years as the Vice President and General Manager of the Amarillo Bulls Hockey Club from 2012 to 2019, during which he was recognized as the 2018-19 NAHL South Division General Manager of the Year.
Before the Bulls, Matchett held several management positions including Convention Sales Manager for the Amarillo Convention Center, Director of Employee Resources at KFDA Television in Amarillo and Market Manager with Cumulus Broadcasting. Matchett holds a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications from Texas Tech University.
Rick and his wife, Denise, will be relocating to Odessa. They have two Children, Brandt and McKay, and one grandson, Weston.
