Washington Wild Things News Release
Washington, PA -- The Washington Wild Things, presented by Washington Federal Savings Bank, were defeated Friday by the Richmond Roosters (3-3) by a score of 3-2 in front of a sellout crowd of 3,369. The loss brings the Wild Things' record to 3-3.
Jay Coakley started led the Wild Things to an early lead when he hit a two run single to center field. However, those would be the only runs obtained by the Wild Things throughout the game. The Wild Things face The Chillicothe Paints for the next three home games. Tomorrow's game will be broadcast on Fox Sports Net starting at 7:05 PM.
