Kalamazoo Kings News Release

On a cold rainy night at Homer Stryker Field the Kalamazoo Kings suffered their second loss of the season to the Florence Freedom 8-7.

Chris Carter continuted his excellent display of hitting by collecting two hits. The scoring began in the bottom of the second when Carter hit a 2 run shot to the right field party deck. After a 37-minute rain delay in the middle of the sixth inning the Kings came out in the bottom of the sixth to score three runs. Unfortunately the Kings just could not pull off the victory. Denny McGee got his second loss of the season.

Come join us on two ticket Tuesday when the Kings return home on June 3rd against Evansville.
