
RHP Tim McNab Joins Bisons

The Buffalo Bisons, Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets, today announced that RHP Tim McNab has been promoted to the team from Binghamton (AA) of the Eastern League.
McNab, 28, was 0-0 with a 3.27ERA in eight relief outings with the B-Mets (11.0IP, 12H, 4R, 4ER, 1BB, 4K). He has made four consecutive scoreless appearances, April 24-30, in a stretch that has covered 3.2 innings of work. On the season, right-handed batters are hitting just .167 (4-24) off him.
Originally selected in the 22nd round of the 2002 draft by New York, McNab was 3-3 with a 5.55ERA in 50 games (1 start) for New Orleans (AAA) last season (73.0IP, 75H, 52R, 45ER, 26BB, 39K).
