RHP Jonathan Arias Promoted to AAA Tacoma

CHATTANOOGA, TENN. - The Seattle Mariners have announced the following roster moves that affects the Generals roster prior to tonight's game at Chattanooga. RHP Jonathan Arias has been promoted to AAA Tacoma and there is no corresponding move.
Arias pitched one inning of scoreless relief in Jackson's season-opening 12-7, 11 inning win over the Lookouts. He appeared in 32 games for AAA Tacoma last season, posting a 4-2 record, with two saves and a 5.58 ERA. Arias replaces RHP Dominic Leone in the Rainiers bullpen, who was promoted to Seattle on Friday. Leone's promotion adds the fourth member of the 2013 Jackson Generals to Seattle's active roster.
