
RHP Brian Grening Transferred to Kinston

The Akron Aeros made a roster moves today as RHP Brian Grening were transferred to Class A Kinston.
Grening returns to Kinston after his second stint with the Aeros in 2010, this one lasting just one day. He appeared in last night's game in Trenton, going two innings and giving up one earned run, one hit, one walk and striking out one. . He previously appeared in 14 games with the Aeros this season from April 9 to May 7. During that time, Grening had an ERA of 4.91 and allowed eight runs on 13 hits with 15 strikeouts and 11 walks in 14.2 innings. The San Luis Obispo, Calif. native was obtained as the No. 38 selection in the June 2008 Draft.
