El Paso Rhinos News Release
Rhino country welcomes the New Mexico Ice Wolves this week where we face off in a two-game series! Rhinos strike fast tonight with a goal three minutes into the game. Reid Lune would be the first of many goals the Rhinos would see tonight, but it would be the only goal of the first period. AJ Reed starts us out at 5:37 into the second period followed closely behind by Mark LaFrance taking one just a mere twelve seconds later to increase the Rhinos' lead to 3-0. With the third period now underway and the Rhinos looking to take a complete shutout victory the Ice Wolves up their aggression. Rhinos would take one more goal before the Ice Wolves are able to mount a counterattack as Jakub Jerman puts the Rhinos up 4 points. Finally, at the 11:19 mark the Ice Wolves' Alfred Lindberg puts them on the board and cuts their lead to 4-1 temporarily. Unfortunately for the Ice Wolves Jakub Jerman returns for his second goal of the night followed just behind by Tyler Green two minutes later to give the Rhinos a 6-1 victory.
