FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution will host its fifth-annual Supporters Summit on Monday, Feb. 10. This year's event will be held at Arc (835 Beacon St., Boston, Mass.), marking the first time the event will be held in Boston.
The event is exclusively for registered members of the team's two recognized supporters groups - The Midnight RidersÃâàand The RebellionÃâà- and is not open to the public. For more information about the club's recognized supporters groups, including information about how to join, click here.
At the Supporters Summit, members of both supporters groups have the opportunity to have an open and candid dialogue with club President Brian Bilello and General Manager Michael Burns through a question-and-answer program. In the past, topics such as player acquisitions and strategy, club culture, business objectives, supporters' away-game travel and security concerns, among other subjects of importance to supporters, have been discussed.
"We believe the Supporters Summit is a fantastic forum for our supporters to directly engage the club on matters that are important to them as our core fans," Bilello said. "The exchanges we have and the feedback produced from this event have helped us improve the fans' experience and we look forward to another productive session this year."
"We are looking forward to another season working with the team to continue to improve the game day experience for all fans. We feel that the Supporters Summit is a great way for supporters to have their questions directly addressed by the team." Fran Harrington, President of The Midnight Riders, said.
"Every year, this event provides an opportunity for an open dialogue between the supporters groups' leadership and the front office to discuss issues and ideas that help further develop and grow our groups and the game day experience," Rebellion Executive Director Brendan Schimmel said. "This is the chance for both groups' members to take all of the ideas and criticism posted on social media and provide it in-person in a constructive forum."ÃâÃÂ
