
Revolution Announces Pre-season Schedule for February

Foxborough, MA - The New England Revolution announces today the team's schedule for pre-season training for the month of February as it begins its quest for MLS Cup 2004. Sessions will take place both at Train Boston in Wellesley and at the new fieldhouse structure located to the south side of Gillette Stadium.
The Revs will begin the preseason by holding entrance physicals on February 9 at Gillette Stadium at 10 a.m. The Revs will then conduct seven days of fitness work at Train Boston in Wellesley. The team's first full training session using soccer balls will take place at the fieldhouse on February 18 at 4 p.m. The Revs will then continue to work out at Train Boston for the remainder of the month, with four more fieldhouse workouts also scheduled for February.
New England's MLS SuperDraft first round choice Clint Dempsey (8th overall, Furman University) will join the team on February 9 for the team physicals. Dempsey, a U.S. U-20 international, signed with MLS and the Revs as part of the Nike Project-40 program and can play midfield, forward and as a defender.

The Revolution will play their home opener at Gillette Stadium on April 17 at Gillette Stadium versus the MLS Cup defending champion San Jose Earthquakes with Landon Donovan. The Revs' 2004 MLS regular season begins April 3 away to the Los Angeles Galaxy.
