Foxborough, Mass. - The New England Revolution announced their full regular season schedule for the 2005 Major League Soccer season today. 2005 marks the Revolution's historic 10th season of play and in celebration of this landmark event, the Revolution has rolled back Center Circle season ticket prices to 1996 levels. After traveling to San Jose to play the Earthquakes on April 2 to kick off the season, the Revs' home campaign opens at Gillette Stadium on April 9 in a rematch with divisional rivals the Columbus Crew, the team the Revs' defeated in the 2004 Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Other notable dates on the Revs calendar include rematches of the Revs' thrilling 2004 Eastern Conference final with D.C. United and 15-year-old star Freddy Adu on both May 14 and August 27 at Gillette Stadium.

Memorial Day weekend always means soccer action in New England, and this year sees a retooled Colorado Rapids side visiting Gillette Stadium on May 28.

On July 12 and July 16, Gillette Stadium plays host to top international soccer action when the CONCACAF Gold Cup returns to Foxborough. The July 16 date will be an action-packed tripleheader including the quarterfinal round of the Gold Cup and the Revolution vs. FC Dallas (formerly the Dallas Burn).

On April 30, the Revs host expansion team Club Deportivo Chivas USA from Los Angeles in what is certain to be an intriguing match up. Chivas is affiliated with CD Guadalajara (known as "Chivas") in Mexico. Chivas is Mexico's most popular team and the Chivas entry into MLS is one of the compelling stories in world soccer this year.

The other expansion team in MLS, Real Salt Lake (Salt Lake City, Utah), visits the Revolution for the first time ever on August 10.

The 2005 Revolution returns the core of the squad that made it to the Eastern Conference Finals the previous two seasons and the 2002 MLS Cup final. Star striker Taylor Twellman heads a talented group that includes 2004 Gatorade Rookie of the Year Clint Dempsey, 2004 Budweiser scoring co-champion Pat Noonan, MLS ironman Steve Ralston, goalkeeper Matt Reis, playmaker José Cancela and top defensive midfielder Shalrie Joseph as well as Revs stalwarts Jay Heaps, Joe Franchino and Carlos Llamosa. First round SuperDraft pick Michael Parkhurst of Cranston, R.I. heads a talented crop of new Revs players for 2005.

All Revolution Center Circle season ticket packages include the July 12 and July 16 Gold Cup events as well as two other special games in 2005. Call 1-877-GET-REVS for Center Circle season ticket information.
