
Reno Cruises To 113-101 Victory Over Tulsa

RENO, Nev.- Richie Frahm hit six of his seven tries from beyond the arc Sunday afternoon, helping lift the Reno Bighorns to a 113-101 win over the Tulsa 66ers in the Reno Events Center.
Frahm, who was acquired by Reno on Saturday, recorded a game-high-tying 23 points off the bench for the Bighorns. He finished 8-of-9 from the field, also chipping in three rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Reno sprinted out of the gates and never turned back, building a 13-point lead after one quarter of play before heading to halftime with a 21-point advantage. In a game that Tulsa never led, Reno's biggest lead of the day was 32 points.
In addition to Frahm's sharp-shooting off the bench, Rod Benson collected yet another double-double for the Bighorns with 17 points and 14 rebounds. Will Blalock recorded 13 points and nine assists, and Desmon Farmer chipped in 21 points and five assists.
Mustafa Shakur led the way for Tulsa with 23 points, helped by four three-pointers. Latavious Williams was dominant on the glass for the 66ers, finishing his day with 19 rebounds. Deron Washington scored 19 points, while Larry Owens fell just two rebounds and one assist shy of a triple-double.
