Hudson Valley Renegades News Release

Shawn Semple pitched seven innings to earn his fourth win as the Hudson Valley Renegades topped the Wilmington Blue Rocks, 6-5, on Saturday night in Delaware.

Semple (4-1) allowed three runs -- two earned -- on seven hits with nine strikeouts. Derek Craft pitched the final two innings to notch his second save.

Down 3-1 in the seventh, Hudson Valley scoured four times, highlighted by a three-run homer off the bat of Anthony Seigler. The Gades picked up an important insurance run that ultimately provided the margin of victory in the eighth on a solo shot by Chad Bell.

Pat DeMarco hit his first home run in a Renegades uniform earlier in the game. DeMarco and Pablo Olivares had two hits each to lead the Hudson Valley offense.

Jordan Bocko (1-2) took the loss for Wilmington.

The series concludes tomorrow before the Gades move down I-95 to Aberdeen, MD.

Per the State of New York, the Renegades are now open at 100% capacity. Tickets continue to be a tremendous value starting as low as $6. Visit HVRenegades.com for ticket information and so much more.
