Reminder: Nissan Fan Day Is Today

(Edmonton) - The always popular Nissan Fan Day is today, Saturday June 8, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Clarke Park. The Esks will have a green and gold scrimmage at noon followed by a full-team autograph session with fans.
Nissan Fan Day is the only opportunity to purchase the 35-year-old legendary seats first installed at Commonwealth Stadium for the 1978 Commonwealth Games. Roughly 500 seats will be sold at the merchandise booth on a first come first serve basis. Seats will be sold in pairs for $100 per seat ($200 total+GST). Cash, debit and credit are accepted on site. Please note that single seats and specific seats from specific sections of the stadium are unavailable due to their condition when they are removed. Each seat comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity.
Nissan Fan Day also features:
- live commentary and interviews with players
- mascots Nanook and Punter and members of the Eskimos Cheer Team on hand for pictures and autographs
- a sneak peek at 2014 Nissan models
- free Eskimo face-painting for kids and the young at heart
- a barbecue courtesy of Sobey's - For just $3, fans can feast on a Johnsonville bratwurst sausage, Reser salad and a Coca-Cola beverage with all proceeds going to the Edmonton Food Bank
- free ice cream courtesy of Breyers
