
Reid named CFL Player of the Month

Montreal, August 1st, 2002 - Linebacker Stefen Reid was named defensive player of the month in the Canadian Football League.
Reid made 21 defensive tackles and two quarterback sacks in the Alouettes' five wins in June and July. Also, the Alouettes' defence performed above all expectations since the beginning of the season.
Among the other players of the month are Winnipeg quarterback Khari Jones (offence), Bombers' defensive lineman Daved Benefield (lineman) and Stampeders' kick returner Raymonn Adams (special teams).
