Robby Darrar had the lone goal on the evening, and Dubuque improved to 16-1 all-time in playoff games at the Mystique Community Ice Center.
Dubuque opened the game feeding off the crowd of 2,848 and outshot Cedar Rapids 16-7 in the opening period. The Fighting Saints best chance came from Shane Eiserman late in the opening period.
