Black Hawks Advance to Second Round

Waterloo, Iowa- The Waterloo Black Hawks became the first United States Hockey League team to advance to the Clark Cup Semifinals, completing a best-of-five series Thursday with a series-clinching third victory against the Sioux Falls Stampede.

The Hawks will resume their postseason schedule on Friday, April 25th against either the Sioux City Musketeers or the Omaha Lancers at Young Arena. The second round series will also be played in a best-of-five format, with identical home dates regardless of opponent:

Game One Friday April 25th Young Arena 7:05 p.m.

Game Two Saturday April 26th Young Arena 7:05 p.m.

Game Three TBD TBD AWAY TBD

Game Four TBD TBD AWAY TBD

Game Five Tuesday May 6th Young Arena 7:05 p.m. (if necessary)

The Musketeers currently lead the Lancers two-games-to-none, with Game Three tonight at Tyson Events Center in Sioux City. If necessary, Game Four would be played tomorrow, with a potential fifth game in Omaha Tuesday.

Tickets for Games One and Two of the Clark Cup Semifinals will go on sale Monday, April 21st at noon. They will be available from the Waterloo Black Hawks' front office at Young Arena, online from waterlooblackhawks.com, or by calling the Domino's Black Hawks Box Office at (319) 291-7680. If necessary, tickets for Game Five will be made available after the first four games of the series have been completed.

Fans who have signed up for the Black Hawks' complete playoff package may pick up their second round tickets as early as Monday afternoon from the team's front office.

Semifinal round single-game ticket prices will be as follows, when purchased at least 24 hours prior to game time: Blue Zone - $13.50, White Zone - $15.50, Red Zone - $17.50, Gold Zone $20. On game day, tickets prices will increase one dollar, except in the Gold Zone. Students, seniors (60+), and active military personnel receive $1 off their tickets.
