Regions Field to Host Promotions Aplenty as Barons Face BayBears

Birmingham, AL - The Barons return to Regions Field to begin their third homestand of the season on Wednesday,April 30th as they take on the Mobile BayBears in a rematch of the 2013 Southern League Finals. The homestand begins with AAA Wednesday where fans can get $2 off admission by showing their AAA card. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM CDT.

As the calendar turns to May, the Barons celebrate with the second Thirsty Thursday of the season! Fans can enjoy 16 oz. beverages for just $2 including Corona and Corona Light, Miller Light, Yuengling and Blue Moon. Thursday will also be Mardi Gras in May at Regions Field featuring a Crawfish Boil courtesy of Cajun Steamer. Fans will have the opportunity to purchase plates of Crawfish or Jambalaya and Red Beans for just $15 in the Glowble Courtyard. Thursday also marks the return of the Thursday Concert Series presented by Birmingham Mountain Radio & Tin Roof as local artist John Vogel performs in the Courtyard from 5:30-7pm.

Friday is NASCAR Night at Regions Field feature a special appearance by Bobby Allison courtesy of Tire Pros. Allison will throw out the first pitch and sign autographs in the Glowble Courtyard for the first three innings of thegame. Following the game, fans will be treated to a post-game fireworks show presented by Coca-Cola, Alabama Power and Glowble Lighting. The first 1,000adult fans at Friday's game will receive a Replica Southern League Championship trophy courtesy of Coca-Cola. Following Friday's game there will be a Girl Scout Campout at Regions Field.

The Barons and Cantina will celebrate Tres de Mayo on Saturday with a free Nacho giveaway to first 500 fans in attendance courtesy of Golden Flake. In addition, the first 1,000 kinds in attendance will receive a Kids T-Shirt courtesy of Edwards Chevrolet. During every Saturday game throughout the season, the Barons will also give away a free grill from All-South Appliance. During Friday and Saturday's games, fans will be able to purchase Corona or Corona Light for just $3.

The homestand concludes on Sunday with a Salute to Armed Forces as the Barons pay tribute to the men and women of the United State armed forces bywearing special camouflage jerseys courtesy of DRASH and NAPA. Prior to thegame, there will be a special Youth Clinic from 1:00-2:00pm. Fans 12 and under are invited to participate but must have a ticket for the game to enter. Sunday will also be a special Autism Awareness Day at Regions Field. The first of its kind, the event will provide a safe, accommodating environment for fans with Autism while enriching and educating fans about the disorder.
