LAST GAME:.........The Pats were in action last night playing the re-scheduled game versus the Moose Jaw Warriors originally scheduled for Friday, January 30th....for the 2nd straight night, the Pats and Warriors were unable to settle the score in regulation time, as last night the teams battled to a 2-2 OT tie....Perry Faul (7) and Rick Rypien (16) scored for the Pats, who held the Warriors scoreless through over 105 minutes of action before Masi Marjamaki scored at 5:19 of the 3rd period last night......goaltender Dustin Slade picked up a match penalty for using his blocker to clear the Warriors' Dustin Boyd from his crease midway through the 2nd period....the Pats are awaiting word on a possible suspension to Slade....
PATS VERSUS TIGERS:......The Pats and Tigers have met four times this season and have sawed off the series at 2 games a piece, each team winning both on home ice.....the last time these clubs met, the Pats prevailed 1-0 back on December 6th....over the past five years, the Pats lead the series with a record of 20-12-2 and have a decided edge of 13-3-1 at the âDome......
PAT CHAT........The Pats have called up 2003 11th round WHL Bantam pick and Moose Jaw Midget AAA Warriors goaltender Ryan Nieszner for tonight's game......the Pats have lost only 3 times in regulation time in the 10 games since the January 8th WHL trade deadline.....former Pat captain Chris Schlenker, now with the PA Raiders, is sidelined day to day with a wrist fracture for the 3rd straight season...Schlenker injured the wrist fighting the Saskatoon Blades' Tanner Schultz on the opening shift of the Blades/Raiders game this past Friday.....
UPCOMING GAMES.....The Pats will be off after tonight until Sunday, February 8th when they host the East Division leading Prince Albert Raiders for a 2:00pm matinee......

JOSH HARDING/COOPERATORS SAVES FOR A CURE PROGRAM:.....The Pats are pleased to announce that this program will continue throughout the remainder of this season...Josh Harding will continue donating $1.00 for every save he makes as a member of the Brandon Wheat Kings...the Cooperators and Pats will continue donating $1.00 each for each Pats goaltender save......thus far the season total is at $4,137.
PATS IN THE PRO'S.....Former Pat agitator Bryan Wells was recently relieved of his duties this past Thursday as head coach of the Adirondack Icehawks of the United Hockey League......new team co-owner and former NHL coach Barry Melrose has taken over behind the bench on an interim basis........
