LAST GAME:......The Pats dropped the 3rd game of this 4 game homestand 2-1 to the Swift Current Broncos this past Sunday......Jon Bubnick (14) opened the scoring for the Pats at 6:37 of the 2nd period......Davin Heintz scored with 28 seconds remaining in the game to give the Broncos the win.....Dustin Slade made 32 saves for the Pats earning the game's 2nd star honors..........
PATS VERSUS WHEAT KINGS:.......Tonight is the fourth meeting of the season between these two teams....the Pats won the season opener at the âDome by a score of 4-1.....there are 9 players from that game no longer on the Pats' roster......the Wheaties have won the last two meetings by scores of 3-1 and 8-2.....both of those games were in Brandon......
PAT CHAT.......With 29 losses on the season, the Pats will be looking to avoid losing 30 games for the first time since the 1998/99 season under Parrey Shockey when the team had a record of 24-43-5-0......Pats captain Rick Rypien will play his 100th WHL game this Saturday in Moose Jaw....Rypien, who recorded his 50th career WHL point recently, has not scored in the new year.......
UPCOMING GAMES.....This Friday the Pats complete their four game homestand hosting the Moose Jaw Warriors in the front end of a home and home series that will see them travel back to the Crushed Can on Saturday....the Pats will then host the Medicine Hat Tigers on Tuesday, February 3rd......

PATS IN THE PRO'S......Former Pat captain Jason Smith is out of the Edmonton Oilers' line-up indefinitely after discovering an ankle injured back on December 30th versus Minnesota is actually fractured...........
PATS PROSPECT WATCH:......Four of the top six scorers on the Regina Pat Canadians Midget AAA team are property of the Pats, including Logan Pyett (35 points), Kyle Ermel (31), Josh Bray (20), Matt Sawa (15).......
