
Reed Sorenson forced to cancel PrairieThunder appearance

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - NASCAR driver Reed Sorenson has been forced to cancel his Dec. 6 appearance at the Bloomington PrairieThunder hockey game because of surgery.
Fellow NASCAR driver Jeff Burton will still make his appearance at the 7:05 p.m. game against Rockford. Burton will sign autographs from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at U.S. Cellular Coliseum.
Central Illinois Management officials, along with co-sponsors State Farm Insurance and Insight of the Dec. 6 NASCAR Night, are hoping to reschedule Sorenson's appearance later in the season.
Tickets for all PrairieThunder games are available at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum box office by calling 309-434-2679 or on-line at www.uscellularcoliseum. They are priced at $10, $12, $15 and $20.
The PrairieThunder's next home game is Saturday, Nov. 25, at 7:05 p.m. against Port Huron.
