SAN JOSE, Calif. (Apr. 20, 2007) - The two-time ArenaBowl champion San Jose SaberCats square off against the Los Angeles Avengers in a Western Division tilt on Saturday, April 21, and the team has announced roster moves prior to the contest.
Veteran lineman Chuck Reed was removed from the "Refused to Report" list and placed on the club's active roster. Rookie WR Cleannord Saintil was activated from injured reserve and is expected to see playing time on Saturday.
Reed (6-2, 299) enters his 12th season in the Arena Football League and his 6th with the SaberCats out of UNLV. The SaberCats and Avengers are both 3-3 and trail first-place Utah (5-2) in the division standings. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
