
Redhawks Re-Sign Fellman; Release Pacella

FARGO, N.D. - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks have re-signed RHP Nick Fellman to a contract and released RHP J.J. Pacella, the Northern League club announced today. Fellman will be activiated for Sunday's game against the Joliet JackHammers at Newman Outdoor Field in Fargo.
Fellman, 24, was 6-5 with a 4.58 ERA in 24 games (13 starts) for Fargo-Moorhead in 2009. He pitched 98.1 innings and allowed 62 runs (50 earned) on 105 hits. Fellman struck out 51 batters and walked 34 batters. This year, Fellman was the last player released by the RedHawks in Spring Training.
Pacella, who was acquired via trade this spring, made one appearance for the RedHawks. He allowed two runs on two hits in 1.1 innings pitched last night and took the loss.
