TODAY: The RedHawks wrap up their longest trip of the season with a 1 pm game against the New Orleans Zephyrs. OKC is 7-3 on the rain-shortened, 11-game swing. The RedHawks took a 2-1 series lead with an 8-3 win yesterday over the Zephyrs. A win today would give the RedHawks a 3-game road winning streak, matching their longest of the year. OKC leads Albuquerque by 1.5 games in the American South Division. New Orleans is third, 5.5 back. Righthander Tommy Hunter is scheduled to make his sixth start of the year. He has not faced the Zephyrs in 2010. Burke Badenhop, recently optioned from the Marlins' bullpen, gets the start for the Z's.

STREAKING: The RedHawks scored twice in the first inning yesterday and have tallied at least 1 run in the first inning of 3 straight games. Brandon Boggs, who has a 3-game RBI streak, drove in one of the early runs yesterday and both of the first-inning tallies the previous 2 games. Boggs has a 6-game hitting streak (7-for-22, .318). Ryan Garko has hit in 9 straight (11-for-35, .314). Each has 2 homers during his current streak. Esteban German has reached by hit or walk in 11 straight and Gregorio Petit has a 12-game on-base streak. Jarrod Saltalamacchia has 4 hits during this trip and 3 have been homers. Saltalamacchia left yesterday's game in the seventh inning with cramping in his lower back.

BULLPEN TOSSES 3 SCORELESS: Elizardo Ramirez and Clay Rapada teamed for 3 scoreless innings yesterday. In the past 14 games, OKC's bullpen has logged 51.2 innings, allowing 8 earned runs (1.39 ERA) on 28 hits while going 3-1. The bullpen strung together a 24.2-inning scoreless streak (snapped May 22) during that span.

TARP SLIDES: Yesterday's game was delayed 2 hours, 49 minutes by rain before the first pitch. It was the fourth consecutive "day" game (with a listed start time of 4:05 pm or earlier) to have a delay, following May 16 at home, May 23 at Portland and May 26 at Tacoma. Rain has fallen during play or affected pre-game work in 9 of 11 days of this trip. Four of the last 20 scheduled RedHawks playing dates have had postponements or cancellations because of rain. The RedHawks had no rainouts or rain delays in their first 31 scheduled dates this season. ERA REMAINS NO. 1: OKC leads the PCL in team ERA at 3.27. Fresno has the second-best mark at 3.44. Despite allowing a homer in 3 straight games this series, the RedHawks have allowed the fewest home runs (26) in the league. They have allowed the fewest earned runs (158) and the second-fewest total runs (186). OKC pitching has the second-most strikeouts (363) behind Sacramento's 391.

DE-FENSE: The RedHawks are fourth in team fielding percentage (.980) and have committed the fourth-fewest errors (37). The RedHawks are 17-8 when errorless and 11-13 when charged with a miscue. Second baseman Hernan Iribarren leads PCL second basemen with a .995 fielding percentage, 1 error in 193 total chances.

STROP STREAKING: OKC reliever Pedro Strop owns an 11-inning scoreless streak, during which he has allowed just 1 hit, a single by Javier Guzman Friday. Strop's scoreless streak has spanned all of his last 6 outings. He recently had a stretch of 24 consecutive retired batters covering all or part of his appearances from May 4-23. The consecutive retired batters streak was stopped on Sunday with a walk in Portland.

INCIDENTALS: Esteban German is tied for the league lead with 38 runs scored...he has more walks (9) than hits (6) on this trip...German is tied for second in the league with 18 stolen bases behind Sacramento's Corey Wimberley (21)...Portland's Luis Durango also has 18. The RedHawks are 8-7 in day games and 1-6 on Monday...they are 4-8 in series finales.
