Today's Game: Fresh off a six-run, come-from-behind win last night, the RedHawks will try and extend their current win streak to five games when they meet the Nashville Sounds at 7:05 p.m.

Last Game: Down 7-1 in the bottom of the second inning, the RedHawks scored eight unanswered runs and then held on for a 9-8 victory over the Sounds. After trailing by six, the RedHawks scored thee in the second and then four in the fourth to take the lead. With the RedHawks ahead 9-8 in the eighth, Nashville loaded the bases with none out, but Jose Valdez struck out two batters and got an inning-ending groundout to halt the threat. Valdez would retire the side in order in the ninth to claim his seventh save. The RedHawks notched four triples and stole six bases. Trevor Crowe had a banner day, going 3-for-3 with a home run, two walks, four runs, and three stolen bases. Kyle Hallock (1-0) got a well-deserved first win of the season after tossing 4.1 scoreless innings of long relief.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Jarred Cosart looks to rebound after a rare rough outing...On Thursday against New Orleans, Cosart gave up five runs before an out was recorded and allowed a total of six runs over 4.1 innings...He set season highs in runs (6), hits (5), and walks (4) with a season-low two strikeouts...Until that outing, Cosart had been dominant, allowing just two runs and 10 hits over his first 17.2 innings...He is still having one of the better seasons in the PCL, as his .185 opponent average ranks fourth in the league and he is averaging over a strikeout per inning....Cosart made one start against Nashville earlier this season, firing five scoreless innings in his first win of the year on April 10...He allowed just one hit, struck out a season-high seven, and retired the final 10 batters he faced.

Parked Inside the Park: Matt Diaz's first-inning home run on Thursday was the first one allowed by Jarred Cosart at the Triple-A level (45.1 IP) and the first homer he's allowed at all since June 9, 2012 (82.1 IP). As a team this season, the RedHawks have only allowed 14 home runs, second-least in the league (Memphis-11).

Against the Sounds: 2013: 3-1 2012: 13-3 All-time: 130-114 In OKC: 69-52

The RedHawks won two of three in a rain-shortened, three-game series in Nashville earlier this season...It was a low-scoring series, with the two teams putting up 13 runs combined (OKC-8, NAS-5)...The RedHawks hit .204 while the Sounds were held to a .189 team average...It should come as no surprise all four games have been decided by two runs or less, since 11 of 16 games last season were decided by that margin...In 2012 the RedHawks dominated the season series, winning 13 of 16 games, including seven of eight in Oklahoma City...The RedHawks pitching staff posted an outstanding 2.67 ERA...OKC has claimed the season series in four of the last five years.

Quadruple Triples: Prior to last night, the last time the RedHawks had four triples in a game was June 22, 2004. In that game they steamrolled the Albuquerque Isotopes, 24-4, setting franchise records for runs and hits (31).

Swipe Out: After stealing six bases last night, the RedHawks have stolen 14 bases over the last three games. Their season total now stands at 34, which is tied with Albuquerque for tops in the PCL. Their most steals in one month last year was also 34 (June).

Thunder Buddies: Last season, Trevor Crowe and Jake Elmore combined to hit four home runs in 797 at-bats. After last night, they have equaled that total in 176 at-bats this season. Furthermore, each has gone deep in the same game twice. In addition to last night, both slammed dingers in Memphis on April 7.

On the Marc: Marc Krauss has hit safely in 12 of 13 games in Oklahoma City, batting at a .391 clip with three homers and 19 RBI. His 24 RBI are sixth in the PCL and ranks first among Astros minor leaguers.

Valiant Villar: After getting off to a 2-for-34 start, Jonathan Villar is hitting .424 (25x59) over his last 14 games. He's hit safely in 12 of the games and collected more than one hit in nine of his last 10 contests, including the last five straight. Despite not having a multi-hit game until the 11th game of the season, he is now tied for the team lead with Jimmy Paredes with 11. During this stretch he has collected all 11 of his RBI and all nine of his extra-base hits for the season.

Paredes Patiently Popping Off: Jimmy Paredes is 11-for-24 (.458) during his current six-game hit streak and has collected at least two hits four times. Paredes leads the team with 33 hits and 11 multi-hit games. Paredes' walk total now stands at 11, exactly half of what he had for all of 2012 (22). He didn't draw his 11th walk last season until June 27.

Simunic's Start: Since joining the RedHawks on April 18, Andy Simunic has hit safely in seven of eight games, going 12-for-28 (.429). He has four multi-hit games and the one game in which he did not hit safely, he drew two walks and hit a sac fly. Over 11 games with the RedHawks the last two seasons, Simunic went just 1-for-14.

That Was Close: Last night was just the fourth one-run game the RedHawks game have played this year, tied for least in the league. Nashville--who led the league in one-run games last season--currently is tied for the league lead with eight one-run games.

All or Nothing: Through the first 24 games of the season, the RedHawks pitching staff has allowed seven or more runs 13 times, but has limited the opposition to three runs or less in the other 11 games.
