
RedHawks can't generate enough offense against T-Bones

The T-Bones improved to 22-21 with a win in Fargo, their second of the three-game series. The RedHawks fell to 21-22 with the 3-1 loss.
Zeros stayed on the board until Rob Watson hit an RBI single off Billy Weitzman into right field scoring Steven Trout in the third. Zach Penprase stole his 16th base of the season and scored off a Joe Mathis single into right field which tied the score at one a piece in the bottom of the third.
It stayed quiet until Kansas City scored two runs in the seventh. Geoff McCallum doubled to the right field corner scoring Aharon Eggleston and John Martin making the score 3-1 in favor of the T-Bones. In his first game at Newman Outdoor Field, Weitzman allowed two runs on five hits along with two walks and one strikeout in six innings of work. David Trahan continues to lead the league as he picked up his tenth save of the year for the T-Bones.
The final game of the series will be in Fargo on Thursday at 7 p.m. Dane Renkert (3-4, 4.82) will take the mound for the RedHawks and Chris Rhoads (1-0, 5.29) will get the nod for the T-Bones.
